spring kitchen ideas 2022

Spring is nearly here! We can’t wait for the longer evenings and the Spring sunshine here at Torbitts Ltd. After a long, cold winter, we can’t wait to add some extra details to our kitchens for the Spring season. With our years of industry experience, we love designing kitchens that are just what our clients dreamed of. From our headquarters in Larne, we love helping clients pick out new ideas and designs. We have clients coming from all over Northern Ireland and we pride ourselves in providing the highest standard of customer service.

Here are some Spring Kitchen ideas for you to try add to your kitchen:

Let the Light shine in

If there’s one thing that Spring usually brings, it’s sunshine. With the days getting longer, it makes the perfect opportunity to get some of that brightness into your kitchen to banish any lingering winter blues. If you’re looking for a bit of a redesign, then you can’t go wrong with incorporating lighter colours like cream or white into your design. As naturally reflective materials, they can bounce light around your space to get rid of any dark shadows and really open up your room. Shadows and dark corners can make a room feel much more cramped, so with the addition of a few well-placed lights like LEDs under cabinets or bright hanging lamps, you can dispel unwanted dark spots.

Fresh Colours

One of the most popular spring trends is adding some pastel colours to your kitchen. At Torbitts Ltd, with clients coming from Belfast and further afield in Northern Ireland for new kitchens and new kitchen ideas, we always recommend soft, pastel colours for a spring kitchen. Pale-blue units paired with soft greys or whites gives your space a simple splash of colour that isn’t too harsh on the eyes and is great if you’re going for a more neutral feel, as well as giving your kitchen an airier look.

Spring Clean

No one likes cleaning, but Spring does make the opportunity to tidy up a tad. Spring is a time of rebirth and new beginnings, so getting rid of all that rubbish you’ve accumulated over the winter months is a great start. After the winter season your kitchen is most likely full of old junk and food you got at Christmas and never used/ate, so starting by clearing all that out is a good place to begin. Having less clutter will instantly make your space look larger and feel airier, things that are key in spring kitchen designs. The best way to achieve this is to invest in some clever storage solutions such as, taking advantage of your wall and under sink space.

Here at Torbitts Ltd, kitchens are available in our showroom & we offer from the simple to the simply fantastic. We design your dream kitchen to your needs for more and offer evening and weekend appointments to accommodate for work schedules. Walk-in customers are also welcome.
